There's a huge trend right now in offices to make them environmentally conscious. But that only makes sense because you spend so much of your life at work and therefore what you do at the office makes a big environmental impact. It's easy to follow green office policies at big offices because you have to, but I'm trying to get a lot better about being green in my own home office.
I work from home so I'm kind of my own boss in the office, although I have an actual boss at another office. I just do everything from home and report accordingly. So some of my home utilities are partly counted as business expenses, including energy. I decided that as part of my home office green makeover, I would shop around for an energy savings plan. I found some information on a really great one and decided to click here (http://www.shopelectricityratestexas.com/) and order it.
I'm pretty proud of myself and I've made other adjustments to create my green home office. I'm trying to go paperless as much as I can and installed some energy efficient lights.
